Visit the Washington County Museum in October

Did you know that October is Tigard Month at the Washington County Museum (WCM)?  The WCM ignites the imagination and brings to life the diverse cultures that so richly define this remarkable region. Visit it in downtown Hillsboro and discover the unique culture and history of the Tualatin Valley.  This month museum is reaching out to city residents to ignite the imagination and bring to life the diverse cultures that richly define this remarkable region.  If you’ve never visited the museum, here’s a perfect opportunity to go!  Tigard will be celebrated and featured in October.  There are several opportunities for Tigard residents with identification:
  • FREE ADMISSION to the WCM on Saturday, October 17, 2015
  • ½ - OFF ADMISSION to WCM throughout the month of October 2015
  • Tigard artifacts on special display in WCM throughout October
  • Special online display of historic Tigard images
  • FREE and discounted outreach programs during October for Tigard groups, such as senior centers, service clubs and other community organizations.
