Annual Used Book Sale

The Friends of the Tigard Library will be having their annual fall used book sale on October 14th through 16th, which will be held in the Burgess Community Room.  Stop by for great prices on books, DVD's, music, and more!  Proceeds from the sale benefit library programs. 

Shopping dates and times:

Friday October 14, 9am-5pm

Saturday October 15, 9am-5pm

BAG SALE: Sunday October 16, 11am-3pm

And when you stop by the library between now and October 15th, be sure to go to the Circulation Desk and pick up a coupon worth 50 cents off your purchase during the sale! (Unfortunately, the coupon is not good for the BAG SALE.)

Support the Library Friends!

Many of you know that the Friends of the Tigard Library offers an annual book sale (usually twice a year).  But did you know that in addition to supporting the Friends at their book sales, you can support them year round using Amazon!  That's right!  You can shop at their Store on Amazon.com by following this link.  Then simply log in by using your own Amazon account.  OR you can support the Friends when you shop through their AmazonSmile link. Then Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the Friends!  Can't remember the addresses of all of those hyperlinks?  No problem, you can just go to the Friends of the Tigard Library website and and click on "SHOP" to be linked to the proper Amazon shopping links.

Friends Spring Book Sale

The Friends of the Tigard Public Library Spring Book Sale is happening!  Stop by the Burgess Community Room for used books, DVDs, CDs, and one-of-a-kind goodies.  Take home exclusive treasures on Friday and Saturday.  Then return on Sunday for the $2 a bag sale.  The Friends use the funds to support library programs, purchase books, and other needs.

It's almost time for another Friends of the Library three day book sale! Shop on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20, between 9 AM and 5 PM at regular prices. Tables will be restocked Friday night with new items for Saturday. Sunday hours are from 11 AM to 3 PM and will be "bag sale" only. Bring a grocery sack or pick one up at the door and fill it with your choice of items for $2! Stop in any day and pick up some books, CDs and DVDs at amazing prices.  Proceeds from the sale is given to the library to fund programs and purchase materials.

Friends of the Library Used Book Sale This Weekend!

The Friends of the Tigard Library will be holding a used book sale at the end of the month.  The Community Room will be packed full of used books, music, and movies...many in mint condition!  Hardbacks are selling for $2, paperbacks for $1, kids are books running 20 to 50 cents (what a bargain!!!), CD's for $2 and DVD's for $3.  Be sure to stop by the Circulation Desk and check out some items from the library to get your 50 cent off coupon!  Cash and checks will be accepted.
