Flora and the Flamingo

Does your youngster like wordless books?  How about lift-the-flap books?  Or how about  ballerinas, or anything pink?  Look no further! There's a new book out that will have your little one drooling all over! (Or should I say tickled pink?)

Flora and the Flamingo is a wordless wonder, written by Molly Idle.  School Library Journal interviewed Molly in this article which talks about her beautifully illustrated tale of a litle girl and a gawky bird, hence the flamingo in an unlikely friendship.  The illustrations are so breath taking that it's like the characters are about to dance or fly right off the pages!  It's just that good!
