Annabelle is practicing her summer magic while the Snow Queen does her winter magic. 

Flowers, lights, and snow appear out of thin air!

A fun and playful snow will illustrate that practice makes perfect and its okay to make mistakes.

Motion Magic!

Mo Mo the bookworm clown is trying to learn how to lead a happy and healthy life! Join us for this hilarious physical comedy show that combines juggling, illusion, and acrobatics performed by Motion Magic!    All ages are welcome to attend on Tuesday January 10, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Burgess Community Room.

December Puppet Show!

Join us for our next Super Tuesday event where Penny's Puppets will present The Gingerbread Man on December 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Burgess Community Room.  Watch and be entertained as Granny gets lonely and decides to make a gingerbread man from a magical cookie recipe.  But then, oops!  She leaves him in the oven too long and a fun adventure begins!  All ages are welcome to attend this mini-musical modern-day twist on an endearing folktale.

Magic Show!

Come one, come all, to a magic show filled with wonder, laughs, music, and authentic prestidigitation! You won't believe your eyes as Alexander, Master of Marvels, makes objects appear, vanish, then reappear! Be amazed as he performs the unique and awe-inspiring library trick!  It's all happening on Tuesday November 1, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the Burgess Community Room.  All ages are welcome to attend!

Super Tuesday Clown Show with Live Animals!

Join us on Tuesday October 4th, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the Burgess Community Room as we will be entertained by Eartha The Ecological Clown as she presents "The Magic of Planet Earth"!  Eartha is a very unique clown that teaches ecological awareness featuring her Moluccan Cockatto, "Major".  There will be other live animals, puppets, and some suprisees in her magical show.  All ages are welcome to attend.

Cowboy Buck & Elizabeth

Join us on Tuesday September 13th at 6:30 p.m. in the Burgess Community Room as Cowboy Buck & Elizabeth put on a high-energy show that combines interactive musical comedy with dance, sing-alongs AND ventriloquism with Peter!  Their music and personalities will charm audiences of all ages!

Teatro Calamari Puppet Show

Join us on Tuesday July 12th at 6:30 p.m. in the Burgess Community Room for Teatro Calamari!  All ages are welcome to attend this puppet show where Tim and his puppet pal, Plumkin retell the story of the Three Pigs, with help from the audience.  What kind of house will Pig Number One live in during this show?

The Portland Ballet

Come experience the magic of dance with the Portland Ballet's most advanced students.  See a choreographed demonstration of a dancer's daily class exercises, then watch selections from both classical and contemporary ballets such as Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, or The Fire Bird. There will be some opportunities for audience participation too...and don't forget to wear your tutu!

Belle is a young woman who knows not to judge a book by its cover and with that falls in love unexpectantly with the Beast. Together they open each others eyes to understanding, patience and standing up for the one you love.

Prince and Princessy attire is optional.

The proud praying mantis declares he will capture the moon and ride on top of it, so he can look down on all the animals who make fun of him.  While his daughter, Porcupine, tries to gain his attention, Mantis focuses on his desire to achieve greater heights.  All ages are welcome to attend.

The Reptile Man

The Reptile Man, everyone's favorite reptile guru will be back for our January 12th Super Tuesday.  He'll be here with his menagerie, so you'll see lots of live, slithery specimens, learn cool facts, and even get a chance to touch a reptile yourself!  Join us in the Burgess Community Room at 6:30 p.m.  All ages are welcome to attend.

en Taiko

en Taiko, the Youth Japanese Taiko Drum Ensemble will be performing at our December 8th Super Tuesday event at 6:30 p.m. in the Burgess Community Room.  This group of youth musicians carries on an ancient Japanese tradition as they combine traditional Japanese-style taiko with the marimba resulting in a dynamic performance.  Then experience taiko drumming for yourself after the program!  All ages are welcome to attend.

A Harvest Puppet Show!

Penny's Puppets Presents: Gourdenia's Harvest Festival on Tuesday November 3rd at 6:30 p.m.  Come explore the garden with your puppet host Gourdenia as the fall harvest is in full swing.  Enjoy plenty of songs, laughter, and silliness to celebrate the season.  The show is open to all ages and will be held in the Burgess Community Room.

Border Collie Performing K-9 Team

Border Collie International is a performing canine team of rescued border collies.  Come see them play sports, perform skits, and show off their Frisbee skills.  Watch these amazing and entertaining dogs in the Burgess Community Room on Tuesday August 11th at 6:30 p.m.  The dogs will be performing in the center of the room, so seating will be set up in a circle around the perimeter of the room.  This program is generously sponsored by Washington County Cooperative Library Services.

Komedy 4 da Kidz!

Angel Ocasio, local kids comedian is coming back this summer!  He'll present a high-energy, very funny one-man variety show jam packed with physical comedy, jokes, juggling, and comedic magic!  His show is perfect for the whole family!

The Zaniac is BACK!

It's the ZANIAC!  And he's coming BACK!

Washington County Cooperative Library Services is hosting The Zaniac to perform at county libraries this summer in conjunction with the summer reading program.  While the Zaniac was here last year, he's coming back for another show that will sure to be a crowd pleaser. With the energy of 1,000 suns, The Zaniac bounces from one end of the stage to the other like an untamed rubber band. This crazy zany guy will give you an entertaining show like no other.  Come see him live in the Burgess Community Room on Tuesday June 23rd at 6:30 p.m.  All ages are welcome to attend.  This program is generously sponsored by Washington County Cooperative Library Services.

Peter Pan and Tinker Bell Show

Calling all Neverland fans!  

Enter the land where Wendy keeps house and the lost boys roam.  Captain Hook is out to stop the boy who never wants to grow up, while Tinker Bell faces losing her best friend.  Only Peter and Tink's friendship can save their friends and each other.  This live dramatic show will be presented by Dragon Theater Princesses on Tuesday April 7th at 6:30 p.m. in the Burgess Community Room.  All ages are welcome to attend.
