Bunny Hop!

Come have some hoppin’ fun in the Library Puett room Monday, March 21st from 1:30-2:30 pm. The Beatrix Potter Society will present a lively short story followed by fun bunny crafts and activities for all ages.

Tales From Pacific Northwest Forests




Emmy Blue will share her original stories and updated folktales about the magical creatures who live in the enchanted forests of the Pacific Northwest.  Squatchie himself might even visit!  And each child will receive their own sparkling magical stone from the enchanted forest.  These magical stories for all ages will take place on Tuesday October 6th at 6:30 p.m. in the Burgess Community Room.

Portland Bridge Stories



Sharon Wood Wortman, author of The Big & Awesome Bridges of Portland & Vancouver and The Portland Bridge Book, will share images and stories from more than 20 years of studying and leading tours of the many bridges in our region.  Learn how model bridges are built and tested.   Please join us for this bridge storytelling slideshow on Wednesday September 16, 6:30-8 p.m. in the Burgess Community Room.  Books will be available for sale and signing following the program.

Super Tuesday With Storyteller Christopher Leebrick



Join us for our next Super Tuesday, on April 2nd @ 7 p.m. in the Burgess Community Room with local spellbinding storyteller, Christopher Leebrick.  He'll captivate the whole enitre family with tales of adventure and enchantment with his program entitled, "Snip, Snap, Snout, the Tale Is Told Out!"  Come prepared to be entertained!  For all ages.
