These will be circulating preloaded ereaders, which is part of a pilot project intended to introduce our curious patrons to the world of reading electronically. Some of these readers will be loaded with bestsellers and other popular books. We will have 10 Kindle Paperwhites and 10 Nook Simple Touches available for check out. Each divice will be preloaded with approximately 15-20 titles each and will focus on bestseller titles. Users will not have the ability to add or delete titles from the devices. The e-readers will check out for 14 days, are non-holdable, and non-renewable, so that means, first come, first served! There's a limit of one e-reader per patron and there's a $1.00/day for overdue fines. All readers MUST be returned to the Tigard Public Library.
